A Glimpse of Lucknow Fashion Week 2018

lucknow fashion week

Hey people!!

Recently I got a chance to closely observe ‘Lucknow Fashion Week’ (3rd edition)  and here I am with all the interesting happenings of this eventful fashion show. This show was organized by Transformation nights, who are already popular in Lucknow for acing fashion industry.

This fashion week started with Biggest Page 3 party of Lucknow. A night filled with fun and glamour. This party actually acted as a great ice breaker for models, designers, makeup artists, the backstage crew who came to Lucknow for this show from all over India. In this casual and free environment, everyone interacted and bonded well with each other, that clearly helped in shaping a coordinated team.

The fashion show was actually divided into two days covering ethnic, western, Indo western rounds. About 50 professional designers and another 50 student designers from INIFD presented their collection, which was not only innovative but also very wearable.

Near about 90 male models and 60 female models walked on the ramp and beautifully showcased vibgyor of fashion and trends. That varied from classic age-old fashion blooming from roots of Indian culture to fashion trends inspired from different parts of the world to something created totally new and innovative that was never seen before.

Here is a sneak peek into backstage preparations, where the model is getting her last minute make up touch up done before setting the stage on fire. Talking about celebrities that appeared for the show and stole all the limelight. Big boss fame celebrity designer Kawaljit Singh present his unique collection for men for the same famous TV serial Uttran fame Nandish Sandhu walked as the show stopper.

MTV Splitsvilla fame Mia Lakra and Veronica Raiput were such stunners in their pretty outfits and confident walk. For this fashion-forward evening, I opted for this gorgeous grey lehenga from Astha Designer Hut, Lucknow. As you all know,  pastels are totally in so conveniently we can skip bright colors in our ethnic wear. All in all, it was a great experience to be a part of such elaborate and influencing fashion week as I took a lot of inspiration from this show which I am definitely going to adopt in my style. I hope you all also have liked some trends will try the same.

I would like to congratulate the organizer of the show Mr. Sunny Mishra for successfully presenting such a pleasing show and thank you for making me a part of it.
It’s really encouraging to see nonmetro cities also processing in fashion field like never before. May our love for fashion keep growing 🙂

Keep slaying,

Sassy Sakshi
